Sally Binard

is a primarily self-taught artist living in the Florida Keys. After many years of focusing on scientific illustration her work has changed direction toward oil painting. Being of Haitian and Belgian descent she was exposed to a wide variety of art--from the primitive, folk-art of Haiti to the Dutch Masters. This exposure has been an inspiring influence on her work. Currently her work consists of mostly portraits, nude studies, and works depicting the colorful elements of her island community.
