She lives in Ahrus, (the second largest city in Denmark)and works as family therapist and artist.

Thogersen is one of the eight artist that belong to the Workshop " Barakken" in Stautrup.

She started painting 10 years ago and has yearly attended several courses at the Art Academy in Ahrus and other Art schools in Denemark.

Most of her paintings are acrylic on canvas, but she has also worked with collages, photos on wood and has experimented with other techniques.

The biggest inspiration in her paintings is nature, people´s life stories along with their strenghts and dreams.

Thogersen has had several exhibition in Denemark at companies, trade fairs and at the Ahrus Art School as well as an international exhibit.
