In 2002, after 25 years working in the interior industry, of which 15 were years as independent entrepreneur and interior adviser, it was time for new challenges. Under the guidance of Ankie Dikker and Karin Boers of The Wijks Atelier, with self studies and experiments, my painter skills developed. My inspiration source forms the surroundings in which I live, the outdoor of Langbroek. Between the meadows and farms it will be not surprising that my preference goes out to the animals in my surroundings. Cows, sheep’s, pigs, and chickens, inspire me to make colorful paintings. Generally I work with acrylic on canvas or linen.
