Wilma Geerts

Wilma(1962) born into a dutch pioneersfamily, wasn't happy in this new land, the polders. At a very early age, she made the big move to live in England. There she found what she was looking for: History.
She lived and studied at several artcolleges in London, Hull and Bradford. Returned after 10 years back to Holland. Full of englisch history she made her own history in Holland by joining the Northern Figurative Expressionsts and incorporating dutch themes. Her love for people and realism became to strong and so developed her own style. Her portraits all have their own history. No matter what age.
