When I paint, I circle around three motifs: the nature, the human body and colors with shapes. My teacher was nature.
In my youth I was sitting in nature, for hours, for days with paper, pen and watercolor, trying to convey what I saw.
For example, how a tree is volume as you catch the sky in a landscape, how belongings to change in yourself in the light and how to make the colors glow. My criticism was to compare the result with reality.
Later I studied the human body in art schools and understood that there are infinitely many interpretations for each shape.
Before my art studies I made a career detour and completed the physical education teacher exam. According to the motto that you indeed a normal professional needs to nourish around.
The sport made me that I see movement in all, an internal dynamics. This is an important part of my interpretation. Influence the subjects listed above and engage. A human gesture can be summoned at the tender spring green or in a dramatic sunset. A landscape can open dreams or fantasies.
The fantasy in which non-figurative or abstract art can create moods and memories, like in the real world. What the viewer sees, we do not know but maybe create my images a recognition or oeffnen a new view of how the world looks
